I'm a skeleton trapped down in Hell
My guardian demon sharing my cell
Weeks have passed in sorrow, there's no end
I wish to die but I'm already dead

Never a change, it's like this day after day
A little more of the same old pain
Apathy begins to set in
Along with a wearing out demon

With the passing of time, the demon grows old
I feel the same worn out pain, it's losing its hold
I'm developing immunity, a weakening burn
I am regaining control, my will has returned

And before my eyes, I stare in awe
My cell bars suddenly tarnish and fall
Then I look down at my skeleton hands
To see all of my flesh grow back

I leave my cell and walk to a wall
A staircase forms, vastly wide and tall
The demon follows but with lot less power
He yells at me, "Don't climb the tower!"
